What to Do
- Hang out at the plaza and people-watch. This town is full of colorful, entertaining characters, locals and visitors alike, and if you plant yourself on a bench and watch them go by, you’ll find it endlessly entertaining
- Buy cake from the back of the truck cake lady or ice cream from the ice cream stand, and pull up a chair to watch the show.
- Watch a ball game at the baseball field—Sayulita has a fine minor league team.
- Sayulita Days—at the end of February, the town celebrates itself with carnivals, rodeos, and on Sunday morning, a parade. Every kid from every school, Miss Sayulita in an SUV, ladies and gentlemen on horseback, bands, and, it seems, everybody else in town is either in the parade or watching it. Don’t miss it!
- Rent a bike and wander the streets on wheels; rent a golf cart and wander the hills and take in the views
