For a small town, Sayulita has an amazing variety of shops: clothes, jewels, furniture, carpets, lights, artworks, and, of course, surfboards, stand-up paddleboards, and boogie boards. Walk the streets, and if you’re looking to spend money, you’ll find something cool to buy.
Packed into a few colorful square blocks encircling Sayulita’s freshly spruced-up plaza, downtown Sayulita is a lively, anything-goes market of human interaction, social and commercial. You’ll find restaurants offering tacos for a buck or beef bourguignon for twenty, artworks ranging from the crudely hip to the coolly chic, and everything in between. Jewels, clothes, dancers, skaters, kids with their mamas and boys with their girls.
